By Rodney Stoyer, Director of Operations, West Clubhouse
With Spring officially upon us, it’s a great time to reflect on a busy and successful winter season at MAC West and look ahead to all that summer has in store. One personal highlight over the past few months has been my transition from Director of Membership, a role I’ve held for the past seven years, into Director of Operations here at the West Clubhouse. I’ve truly appreciated the warm welcome from so many of you, and I want to reiterate that my door is always open. Please feel free to stop by the main lobby office anytime - I value your feedback and the opportunity to connect.

This winter also brought the launch of our 1903 Dining Room brunch experience, which has quickly become a favorite among members. Chef Brian Hardesty and his team created a thoughtful and inviting menu that delivered both comfort and creativity - Cider Donuts and Corned Beef Hash certainly led the way. Sunday Brunch will pause for the summer months, with plans to return this Fall. In the meantime, the West culinary team is excited to welcome members and their families to the upcoming Easter, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day brunch services.
Chef Brian and his culinary team continue to set the tone for hospitality at the Club. With the introduction of a new spring menu, their focus remains on delivering high-quality, seasonal offerings and memorable dining experiences. Whether it’s a casual meal or a special evening out, their goal is always to make you feel welcomed and well taken care of - we’re excited for you to experience what’s ahead.
As we move into the warmer months, we kindly ask for your partnership in maintaining the Club’s standards, including adherence to the dress code. These guidelines help us create a consistent, comfortable, and respectful environment for all members and guests. You can find the latest details on the Club website, mobile app, or by reaching out to our Membership team.
Behind the scenes, our security and front-facing teams continue to play an essential role in your overall experience. From greeting you upon arrival to ensuring the Club remains safe and well-managed, their presence is a key part of our hospitality. We appreciate your cooperation with check-in procedures and guest policies, which help us provide a seamless experience for everyone.

Looking ahead, our team is actively preparing for pool season. We’re focused on ensuring the space is ready for a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer for members and families alike. We’ll be sharing opening details and any updated policies soon, and we look forward to welcoming you back poolside.
Summer also brings another exciting lineup of camps and programs for all ages. From youth activities to fitness and social opportunities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Registration is available through the MAC website and app, and as always, spots fill quickly, so we encourage early sign-ups or joining the waitlist.
As always, our goal is to create an environment where you feel welcomed, valued, and at home. We look forward to seeing you around the Club this season and thank you for being such an important part of our community!
